erm, sorry for the hiatus?...

ok, so everyone's harrassing me to update our blog-- which makes me happy people actually look at this thing! my computer has developed a bad habit of freezing on me practically every time i turn it on (which might have something to do with 95% of its memory being devoted to photos of james) so i've been avoiding my laptop for, well, over a month now i guess (i'm actually updating this on Corey's computer)... we've also been studying for more professional exams (in addition to LEED, also trying to wrap up architecture licensing exams before baby girl makes her debut)-- just 2 more exams left!

just as an update on the pregnancy, i'm 8 months preggo today (32 weeks), can't breathe, can't bend over, can't turn over in bed without shaking the whole house, my lower back hurts, and i've been experiencing those fun "practice" Braxton Hicks contractions every day... with James i felt like i could be pregnant forever but this time around i'm very much over it! the only fun part is watching my tummy jostle all over the place and listening to Corey's explanations of "woah! that's crazy!" as he sees our little baby girl trying to make a jail break through my abdominal wall...

i have so many things to update on James and really should since this acts as a journal for him as well... he's already starting to speak in sentences saying things like "hit the ball" ("hi de ball") as he watches daddy play softball, "dada, where are you?" ("dada, wheraroo?" which also works for other objects like choo-choo & trash truck), and "i did it" ("i dit") when he manages to get the lid off my screw-on chapstick... he has a silly sense of humor too, his favorite phrase right now is "naughty" which he'll repeat over and over as he laughs himself silly ("is james being naughty?" and he'll shake his vehemently as he proceeds to say "nawee nawee")... such a fun kid-- can't even imagine what it'll be like to have 2!
