Happy 4th of July!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th! We visited family and friends in Santa Barbara for the day and it was quite beautiful despite the fires (we could see flames from Kevin & Natalie's backyard). James fell asleep in the backpack as we walked to the beach for the show but woke up once the fireworks began. He did really well but was definitely uncertain of all the loud booms. Next year should be even more fun!

And just as a point of reference, James was actually due on the 4th of July. Funny how life has its own plans.
