First Steps!

Well, it's official, James took his first steps today! Unlike last time, he actually took 3 mini steps twice today-- he's actually shifting his weight from one leg to the other without holding on to anyone or anything. Corey witnessed it first and then we were both there the second time James decided to forge ahead on his own. It's funny because he's not interested in "walker" toys at all (we have a car he can stand behind and push) but he loves to stand next to me anytime I'm cooking or doing laundry and he also always walks along the furniture. I had tears in my eyes as I realized I'm about to become a mother of a toddler after only nine and a half months. It's just bittersweet I think-- my little boy is growing up! *sniff*
