y'know, it's funny, every time someone feels bad for me for the restrictive diet i'm going thru (oh you poor thing!), i can't help thinking that i could stop nursing James and go back to eating normal again today if i wanted to... but the poor kid can't... and in all likelihood he's always going to be sensitive to these foods even if he does manage to outgrow them
poor thing indeed
and that's why it's my mission to find yummy foods that are allergen free so he doesn't have to grow up thinking food is icky and just doesn't make him feel good... so i just made another batch of oatmeal raisin cookies but i'm going to try not to eat half the batch in one breath this time :-)

Ellen,
I used to think poor Ellen and poor James, but you have the right attitude. Soy yogurt is really good. The sunflower butter (substitute for peanut better) was to die for! Hummus is out for me as I am allergic to it, but I am willing to try your recipe's and new discoveries. You are an amazing and caring mom.
Love,
Judy :-)
